About AMRUT
Academy of Maharashtra Research, Upliftment and Training (AMRUT)
AMRUT is an autonomous organization established by Govt. of Maharashtra vide Government Resolution dated 22nd August 2019 and registered under Societies Act, 1860. The objective of AMRUT is to provide assistance to people from Economically Weaker Section belonging to Open Category who do not get any benefit from any Government departments / Organizations / Institutions. The headquarters of AMRUT is at Maharaja Sayajirao Gaikwad Udyog Bhavan, 5th Floor, Aundh Pune – 411067. Various Schemes / Programmes of AMRUT are executed with the approval of the Board of Governors and High-Power Committee at State level. The Governing Body of AMRUT is chaired by Hon'ble Principal Secretary, Department of Other Backward Bahujan Welfare, Mantralaya, Mumbai.
AMRUT's Objectives
- Impart skills development and capacity building trainings to selected target group of AMRUT for self-employment, entrepreneurship development and employment generation.
- Provide basic Skill and Personality Development trainings for self-employment and employability.
- Provide promotional / financial assistance to undertake basic and advance training courses in computer skills, industrial trainings etc.

Provide support to new entrepreneurs through incubation centres.

About MKCL
Maharashtra Knowledge Corporation Limited (MKCL) was promoted by the Department of Higher and Technical Education (H & TE), Government of Maharashtra (GoM), India and was incorporated under the Companies Act, 1956.
On January 05, 2018 the Department of Higher and Technical Education (H & TE), Government of Maharashtra (GoM) issued a Government Resolution, as per which, in place of H & TE Department, the General Administration Department (GAD) has become the Representative Department of GoM for matters concerning MKCL.
